Anchor is designed around a local-first workflow. Data is used only to provide focus sessions, notes, linked tasks, review and optional connected features.
Local data
The extension may store tasks, notes, settings, session history and related productivity signals locally so the product can work inside the browser and restore context later.
Optional connected features
When a user connects an Anchor account, selected workspace data may be synchronized to support connected features such as account access, dashboard history and extended assistance.
Website and extension access
Anchor requests access to the current page only to support page-linked notes, linked tasks, focus context and distraction recovery. This access is not used to sell browsing data.
AI processing
When AI features are used, only the context needed for the requested feature is processed. Anchor does not use that data for unrelated advertising purposes.
Data sale and sharing
Anchor does not sell user data. Data is used only for the product’s focus, notes, task, review, support and connected account features.
