How to use Anchor
Anchor helps you define one work block, keep the right notes and tasks attached to the work, recover from distractions and close the day with clarity.
1. Create your work context
When you first open Anchor, define the current task or work context. This gives the focus session, notes and AI Coach a clear starting point.
2. Start a focus session
Use the popup, widget or dashboard to start a work block. Anchor supports short focused sessions and longer deep-work sessions depending on what you need.
3. Save notes on the right page
Use sticky notes for page-specific context and global notes for broader reminders. Notes keep the URL, domain and work context so you can resume faster later.
4. Turn pages into tasks
Create a task whenever a page or decision needs follow-up. Anchor stores the link, title, description and status so it is easy to return to unfinished work.
5. Manage work on the board
Move tasks through Backlog, Today, In Progress and Done. This keeps the workday visible without needing another project tool for simple daily execution.
6. Use distraction recovery
If you visit a blocked site during focus, Anchor helps you decide whether the switch is useful or just noise. You can return to work or capture the reason for the switch.
7. Close the day cleanly
Use day review to summarize what was finished, what remains and what should move to the next session. This keeps momentum without mental clutter.
8. Work with AI Coach
AI Coach can help answer questions like: what is left today, what changed, what needs follow-up and what should be the next work block. It uses the work context created inside Anchor.
9. Connect your account
Anchor is designed to work locally first, with optional account connection for sync and extended features. Use your account settings when you want your workspace available across surfaces.
